There are a lot of "free" cloud base storage out there today. However, they will either have limited space under free plan, or might somehow use your uploaded files and contents.

Private drive is a free service that you can host yourself and use it as your own cloud drive. From Raspberry PI to media server or up to AWS, Private drive can be installed basically on any platform and you will have full control over your own Private Drive service.

  • Storage capacity is determined by the hard drive on the platform, so you can expend it however you want.
  • Over 100 MB/s upload & download speed within the intranet. Transfer speed depends on the cable plan if used from outside.
